We have a strong reputation across the Midlands for our expertise in all extremely serious criminal cases, and this includes terrorism and security-sensitive cases.
Our members have experience of handling cases including inciting terrorism, making and possession of explosive substances, bomb hoax cases, funding terrorism, distributing terrorist material and training others for a terrorist purpose.
Our national reputation means that we are frequently instructed in high profile cases. Our Counsel recently appeared in the Central Criminal Court (Old Bailey) defending allegations of a bomb hoax, inciting terrorism and other terrorism-related offences.
We understand both the complexity and the challenges that these cases can bring. We are on hand to offer advice and advocacy on all offences right from the beginning of an investigation, recognising that crucial decisions are frequently made during this critical period and the need to get them right. This can include advising clients in conferences, either face to face or remotely, and providing advocacy in every court or tribunal.
