Thomas Welshman instructed Richard Nelsons Solicitors appeared before Newcastle Crown Court and represented a man who lived a James Bond type fantasy.

The defendant who convinced his girlfriend he worked for the secret service had a gun hidden in his chicken coop. He told his girlfriend he had killed people in the past and had agents watching him so always had to have a handgun close by.

He was sentenced to 5 years 6 months.
