Chambers offers mini-pupillages to those seeking careers as Barristers. A mini-pupillage is an excellent way to gather an insight into the work of a Barrister and we are delighted to have offered many mini-pupillages over the years to people who have gone on to have successful careers in the law.
At the moment we are unable to offer any mini-pupillages due to the Covid-19 restrictions. We will update this page when we are able to offer mini-pupillages again.
Please see below for more information; details of our mini pupillages and how and when to apply.
A mini-pupillage presents an unrivalled opportunity to spend 2-5 days shadowing a Barrister.
You will have the opportunity to watch them in court, in the robing room and in chambers; preparing their cases and arguing them.
You may be allowed to read their case papers and allowed to sit in and observe conferences, subject to it being appropriate and the consent of the lay and professional client.
You will not be asked to do any written work and you will usually spend time shadowing more than one member of Chambers.
We offer mini-pupillages for 1 week and take two mini-pupils per week on a bi-weekly basis.
You will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement and terms & conditions prior to undertaking your mini-pupillage. You will also be invited to complete a diversity monitoring form.
We will require you to demonstrate that you understand your duty of confidentiality and compliance with the GDPR.

1st of October to the 31st November.
