Rawaid has garnered a great deal of legal experience spending time with the United Nations Assistance to the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia and the Society for Human Rights and Prisoner's Aid (Pakistan) among others.

He was also a the recipient of a scholarship from the Kalisher Trust and spent time with JUSTICE the all-party law reform and human rights organisation.

He was supervised in his pupillage by James Varley and is rapidly developing a successful defence and prosecution practice.
