Annabel read history at the University of Liverpool and undertook her Bar Exams at Nottingham Trent. She gained practical experience of the law by undertaking work experience at Solicitors firms, mini-pupillages and marshalling, advising through the Nottingham Law School and working as an Independent Victim Advocate.

She was the winner of the 2020 No. 1 High Pavement Mooting Competition.

Annabel joined chambers in September 2022 upon the successful completion of her pupillage under the supervision of Esther Harrison. She prosecutes and defends in both the Crown Court and the Magistrates' court.

Outside the law she combines her love of history with a love of music, performance and the fortunes Nottingham Panthers ice hockey team.
