3 New Members join 1HP – 2019
Chambers are delighted that 3 new members have accepted an invitation to join 1HP in 2019. All 3 appointments strengthen the ranks and enable Chambers to continue to offer solid representation across all areas of criminal law and at all levels.
Jeremy joins 1HP as a Door Tenant. He is an accomplished Silk with over 30 year’s experience both prosecuting and defending in fact heavy, complex cases of considerable importance.
Jeremy is instructed in serious crime cases at the highest level including sexual offences, murder, organised crime and financial crime.
Catherine joins Chambers with effect from 7th January 2019. Prior to being called to the Bar, Catherine trained at an international city firm and worked on 2 public enquiries: Bloody Sunday and Lockerbie. Catherine was called to the bar in 2008 and was a Crown Advocate for over 7 years before joining London Chambers. Her background in commercial law enables Catherine to have a grasp on complex fraud matters. Catherine is a Level 2 Prosecutor and is available for all types of defence and prosecution matters.
Eunice joins Chambers at the end of 2018 as a 3rd six pupil. Eunice completed her pupillage at CPS and will be undertaking a 3rd six pupillage under the mentorship of Pupillage Officer Esther Harrison. Eunice is available for all types of prosecution and defence work in the crown and magistrates courts. She has experience in undertaking advocacy in plea courts, magistrates trial courts and appeals / committal for sentences in the crown court.
